Dalal Engineering traces its roots back more than 50 years, when it forayed into
manufacturing of stainless steel equipment.
Today, five decades later, the scope of activities of Dalal Engineering has expanded
to include operations that cover a diverse range of industrial applications. This
has been made possible by its constant endeavour to upgrade technology. This endeavour
is supported by a highly efficient and modern Research and Development laboratory,
with its team of trained technicians.
The company has introduced several new techniques to the industry, the most significant
of these being its pioneering venture into Dyeing machines and Chemical Process
Equipments.
The major product lines include:
Dyeing, drying, and other equipment for the textile industry. Dryers, evaporators,
filters, flakers, screens, and other process equipment for the chemical, pharmaceutical,
and fine chemical industries.
Vibratory Tub, Vibratory and Centrifugal finishing equipment for surface quality
finishing applicable in a wide spectrum of industries viz., aluminium extrusion
and die casting, brass casting and hardware, automobile components, hand tools and
forgings, gold, silver and imitation jewellery, plastic components, clutch plates
etc.
Dalal Engineering's factory is strategically located at Thane on the outskirts of
Mumbai, India. It has all the latest equipment for designing, manufacturing, and
testing equipment.It has workshop area of about 4000 sq.mtrs. and plot area of about
30000 sq. mtrs. The Research & Development Center located within the factory contains
pilot plants of various equipments. These plants are used to conduct test trials
to guarantee performance and optimize yields. It has workshop area of about 4000
sq. mtrs.
Some significant milestones in the history of Dalal Engineering are:
- 1956 Dalal Engineering Pvt. Ltd. established in Malad, Mumbai
- 1965 Moved to its current location in Thane on the outskirts of
Mumbai
- 1966 Signed Collaboration Agreement with M/s Obermaier & Cie for
the manufacturing of textile dyeing and drying textile equipment in India
- 1973 Signed collaboration Agreement with M/s William Boulton, U.K.
for the manufacturing of Vibro Enery Separators
- 1974 Signed collaboration Agreement with M/s Croftshaw(Engineers)
Ltd., for the manufacturing of Vapour Phase Solvent Recovery Plants
- 1980 Signed collaboration Agreement with M/s William Boulton, U.K.
for the manufacturing of Vibro Finishing Machines
- 1983 Signed Collaboration Agreement with M/s Comber, Italy for
the manufacturing of Agitated Pressure Filters
- 1994 Signed Collaboration Agreement with M/s Sharmic Engineering
Ltd. U.K. for the manufacturing of abrasive low density plastic media for finishing
machinery
- 1997 Signed Collaboration Agreement with M/s Comber, Italy for
the manufacturing of filter Dryers
Workshop
